THRONE OF SACRILEGE/IMPURIUM - Unleashing A Cacophony Of Destruction (CD)

The split CD between Throne of Sacrilege and Impurium definitely lives up to their CD title: "Unleashing A Cacophony Of Destruction", with their old school death metal and black metal influences between the two groups. Musically, Throne of Sacrilege is a killer blend of old school black metal and death metal, and they definitely unleash their cocaphony of the world's destruction. Impurium on the other hand is more old school black metal with influences ranging from Asphyx to Darkthrone and Marduk. The music is quite well written on both releases, and executed flawlessly as well.

This split CD reminds of the good old days of when black metal and death metal music were not trendy and were limited to the underground. Also, being that these bands are from the good old USA is a plus, because black metal and death metal have always had a strong and solid following in Europe, but the US is also secondary to the European scene, with a lot of people crazy for this style of old school/black metal.

In all honesty, Throne Of Sacrilege and Impurium remind of spikes, leather and inverted burning crosses. This is the extreme music church goers despise and call it devil worship music, but who gives a shit, fuck all church goers the world over, as they're a bunch of fucking Christ worshiping whores.
