Italy’s aggressive/groove/hardcore, whatever you want to call it metal unit Spiritrow has just released its latest album, “The Signs”, which is loaded with catchy groove driven rhythms and frustrated, pissed-off sounding vocals. “The Signs” is a musically very diverse record with unique time changes, different moods created by the instruments and a dynamic execution of all ten of their songs. Yes, I know this is a lot to take in, but trust me, once you listen to it a dozen times through, you will be moshing away ‘til the cows come home, ha, ha. Seriously, Spiritrow is not that unique, but their energy and level of musicianship just crushes the threshold of the human ear.
For those of you into, a little clean vocals, will be impressed with the cowboy-like vocals on the “The Voice Of Nothing”. This song also has clean, strummed music, and is a song you can smoke weed to.
This Italian quartet has a promising future, and their next full-length release should solidify their prominence within the aggressive metal scene and their peers.
Check out this release, and feel the intense brutality of their gooves.
