SAHHR e.p. (CD)
Los Angeles eclectic extreme metal quartet respectively known as Sahhr compose and play chaotic and mentally degrading style of death metal meets black metal music meets a pounding of some metalcore for added torture.
This three-song e.p., is a splendid teaser of what their future full length CD will sound like if this three tracker is anything to go by. I very much enjoyed the fact that these guys create a superbly rich hybrid blend of death metal, black metal and metalcore. Close your eyes and dream of a lethal concoction of 1349, Gorgoroth, Darkthrone, Goatwhore and Lamb Of God, and Sahhr is sure to bore a painful hole through your forehead exiting the back of your skull – very fucking insane. Listen to the black metal and metalcore elements on “Slay The Savior”, and you’ll be moshing violently while you’re a witness to a gruesome human sacrifice to the horned god of the underworld.
Sahhr is nothing short of brilliant, and at the rate they’re progessing, I would not be surprised if they started a whole new genre of extreme metal known as blackdeathcore. [Domestic Genocide] Sarjoo Devani
