Praise The Flame – Manifest Rebellion

Santiago, Chile’s old school death metal lunatics Praise The Flame are to sure degrade your mental state with their unholy, darkened, evil spirited opus in the form of “Manifest Rebellion”.

This album is nothing out of the ordinary, but it sure does send the message across to the listener, that they’re definitely for real, and not to be fucked with. The rhythms and riffs immaculately strangle you at the neck, while the vocals senselessly smash your brains out, and the drumming is like the final grenade to your nihilistic end. The precision at which their songs are played, and then thrown at the listener’s face, kind of bury you amidst the chaos and whirlwind it generates.

Oh ya, “Manifest Rebellion” is one bitch of a release that is sure to glorify the total demoralization of your humanity and who you are as an individual. As dark and morbid Praise The Flame comes across in the digital medium, their style of old school death metal is loaded with tons of sparks bound for eternal desecration of the human race in the mortal world. The nine cuts of ultimate savagery and sonic debauchery makes for an ear-severing lesson in death metal brutality.

Overall, the sound production and mixing quality were good, nothing out of this world, but solid and abrasive enough to impact your state of being in profound negative ways. Check it out and feel yourself burn in the darkest confines of hell! Memento Mori    Sarjoo Devani
