Night, a heavy metal quartet, who hail from the land of IKEA (Sweden), is sure to make you bang your head like it was 1986 again. They’re heavily influenced by Rob Halford, Judas Priest and Krokus, with their in your face heavy metal music with a lot of power and fuel to set your world ablaze.
These guys are a very talented bunch, but their style is so outdated that this would’ve made waves had it been done 25 years ago as it is played with tons of conviction and that heavy metal spirit.
With ten tracks of pure, 100% virgin heavy metal on their debut self titled release, Night kicks ass with their melodic rhythms, riffs and the high pitched vocals, but it is still not enough to take the heavy metal universe by storm.
I give them credit for what they’re doing as it is in good fun, and not to be taken seriously, because they’re still underground, and will probably remain so. [Gaphals] Sarjoo Devani
