NECROPHOR – Exterminatus (3-song demo)

Sweden’s Necrophor play a very blisteringly and earth shattering blend of blackened death metal that rips the very core of your soul to shreds.

“Exterminatus” is a 3-song demo, and the shows the band’s ability to mix atmospheric elements along with the chilling guitar arpeggios and ungodly, raspy vocals so reminiscent of Opthalamia, Carpathian Forest, Darkthrone and Necrophobic. The sound and production are not topnotch Sunlight Studio production like their previous demos, but it is still good enough to bring about kindred, evil spirits from the grave.

With the chilling vibes of “Suicide Solution” (nothing to do with the Ozzy Osbourne song of the same name), you’ll feel as if you’re trapped in some desolate wasteland of nothingness.

“God Of War” and “Chaos Undivided” simply tear at the inner core of your being with its raw and primitive guitar parts and dying vocals.

Necrophor is not the soundtrack to an apocalypse; it is the forthcoming apocalypse, storm of total darkness and despair. Listen to Necrophor at your own discretion, as you might not make it back alive from the dark side. Sarjoo Devani
