Invasion - Destroyer Of Mankind

This gladiatorial battle-tested machine, Invasion play old school death metal with hints of modern day death metal, but taken to a much higher level of auditory brutality.
The extreme metal elements and skillful execution of the songs found here, definitely go toe to with the likes of Bolt Thrower, Monstrosity and Deicide. The fact that this quartet play death metal with old school touches and a more modern, refreshing sound, it is no wonder why they sound so blisteringly morbid and killer on their current album “Destroyer Of Mankind”.
Just one listen to “Iron Bottom Sound”, with its twisted, harmonized rhythm guitars and chaotic blast beat onslaught, you’ll be feeling like as if you’re literally trapped in World War Three.
With soundbytes from war movies featured on many of their songs here, it definitely gives their music and songs a real life feel to them - you’ll surely think you’re in the middle of a battle somewhere in the middle east.
Invasion has not reinvented death metal, but they’ve certainly infused it with old school feelings, which many of todays death metal bands completely lack in their delivery of decent sounding death metal.
Calling all death metal freaks from yesteryear, as Invasion will certainly tear you a new asshole with their punishing music assault on “Destroyer Of Mankind”. The nine cuts of the most vile and cruel-sounding death metal here is very tragic and is not afraid of abusing your ears until they bleed in their entirety.
