Eufobia is a Bulgarian quartet, which play aggressive, groove powered old school thrash metal that’s literally in your face and ears.
This being the band’s third album since 2011, sounds pretty good, as they’re tight, very solid in their chops, and definitely get the message across with their dead thrashing metal. Not familiar with their first two albums, but I can only imagine their earlier releases were probably stepping stones to the sonic hell found here.
None of the songs sound alike here, as they’re all spiced up really well with odd time signatures, intricately crafted riffs, and rhythms that sound so damn awkward, which is why they do not sound like the typical thrash metal bands of the past.
For ten tracks adding up to a mere 30 minutes of menacing music here, Eufobia definitely know how to kick your ass and them some with their muscle bruising and skull shattering thrash metal.
The fact, that they’ve included so many interesting riffs, rhythms, growls and rough vocals, it makes for a mindboggling experience.
Eufobia is not doing anything new with their music, but they’re definitely rediscovering their old school thrash metal roots with a refreshing twist.
