EERIE – Into Everlasting Death (CD)
Eerie’s ungodly, total hell worship, and homage to the ancient ones of fires long past makes their debut CD “Into Everlasting Death” a very triumphant release. In the name of the unholy black arts, Eerie have definitely carved out their own niche for purveyors of totally destructive and thought provoking extreme black metal.
There are a total of four cuts found on this full length CD, each within the several minutes range, and it is blackened blasphemy at its most perverse. The guitar riffs viciously wrap around your neck, while the black/death metal hybrid vocals suffocate every ounce of life from your spirit, in total distress.
Just listen to the twisted and technically spiraling out of control riffs on the morbidly darkened tracks: “Into Everlasting Death” and the sadistic beatings of “Among The Ashes”, you’ll feel as if you’re caught in a war between yourself and the fiery world below your feet.
“Into Everlasting Death” is a bold statement of unheard of physical and emotional torture created within the mind, and in this case, it’s you, the listener, be prepared to suffer.
The torturous guitar rhythms intermingled with the depressive black metal rhythms and raspy/growl vocals make this four-track album the listener’s worst fucking nightmare.
Personally, I think this album is one of the most sonically destructive albums to ever come from a Polish black metal band. Eerie is the essence of all that is evil in the darkest of sense, and is performed with the highest caliber of musicianship.
