Cyanosis – Perpetuation Of Eradication

American guttural death metal legion known as Cyanosis has been around for quite sometime, however, I was sent this album for a review, which was released in 2015. “Perpetuation Of Eradication” is a full-on auditory warfare comprised of insanely buzzing guitars, bestial vocal nightmares, and enough blood spewed forth from decapitated human corpses to soak the entire world.

Despite, this album being two years old, it sounds as relevant as it did the day it was released in 2015, probably because majority of guttural death metal bands sound alike and fail to evolve beyond their second or third release.

I am not giving Cyanosis, the same fate, but from listening to the eight tracks of extreme and perverse brutality here, they’re not going to sellout anytime soon. You’ll probably witness them at smaller venues catering to a strong underground extreme metal following.

I will give credit to this band, as their ability to use eerie soundbytes from horror flicks only adds to their skin shredding and skull smashing death metal. Listening to this band is like watching a thriller on some heavyduty steroids, where characters in the movie either get their heads hacked off or stabbed in the guts, bleeding to death. There is nothing evidently new on this record, but the fact these guys are still playing a dying breed of extreme metal speaks volumes about their hideous mindsets.
