CTM (Cryostasium/Thor Maillet) CTM – 3
CTM, which is an abbreviation for Cryostasium/Thor Maillet play a very, very, very bleak, apocalyptic-sounding at times extreme music created on synthesizers only (though occasional guitars can be heard here), which is sure to give the average listener a heart attack.
The only track to be titled here is song number two, “Child’s Cry”, as you can hear a child crying in the background, with sound of white rain almost barely trying to mask it. This song is very eerie, and at times reminds of a world devoid of the living, ruled by spirits of the netherworld.
The other six cuts are so sickeningly perverted with synth sounds and a few guitar arrangements, that they’re not even given any names – now I can see why. It is pointless to title a song solely based on its music through the extremes.
There are hints of doom and gloom here, but CTM definitely know how to twists their song compositions around to make them more than just depressing with a twist of immense melancholia.
The music in CTM3 is not something you want to listen to if you want to feel inspired, as this is the soundtrack to your life’s unholy destruction. Check it out and watch the world die a fiery death. Symbol of Domination Sarjoo Devani
