Chains Over Razors – Crown The Villain

“Crown The Villain” is 100% heavy metal, with a melodic, ass-kicking edge, as Chains Over Razors simply crush all of the listener’s senses.

These guys show no mercy, as their music relentlessly drives their missile and torpedo-like guitar rhythms and drumming to their limits, and these elements along makes this power trio so dangerously perfect. Their musicianship is tastefully executed, with a solid footing firmly planted on the ground. There is nothing that can stop this battle-hardened band, as they’re on so much fire.

“Crown The Villain” has plenty of unique touches of heavy metal, with aggressive and thrash-inspired moments to definitely rock your world inside out.

“Center Line Of A Lie” opens this 12-track CD with blisteringly muscle bruising moments of steel weighted rhythms, ear decimating, aggressive singing tied in with their earth shattering music makes this album a menace.

“2020 (Silence Of The Moonlight)” showcases a wealth of talents in the solid, more melodically driven music along with the passionately sung vocals. This is one of those songs you can either chill out and listen to or even go crowd surfing if experiencing a live performance of this band.

These guys remind of a younger Pantera but with a much bigger sound production, courtesy of Carmine Appice.

This album may not move mountains, but it’s sure to get people headbanging like lunatics on a mission to destroy the world, ha-ha. Sweden Music Group    Sarjoo Devani
