Candlelight Red’s music is an emotionally charged rock record with quite bit if pop sensibilities and album oriented rock numbers. Musically, they’ve got some heavier moments with the mid tempo drumming and almost at times heavy metal sounding guitar rhythms like on the track, “Bend And Break”.
This quartet are good at what they play, but, nothing out of the ordinary as “The Wreckage” is definitely not going to move any mountains. I, however, will give lead singer Ryan Hoke kudos for being a strong lead crooner, which surely gives his band the momentum and fire, which their musicianship sorely lacks.
Guys, check out Crossfade and Finger Eleven; now this how melodic rock should be played.
