Anasarca – Survival Mode 2015 Demo

Anasarca has finally been unearthed from its ancient burial site and is back with its latest 5-song 2015 demo, and this motherfucker is sure to murder the listener after they hit the play button.

“Survival Mode” demo is the quartet’s finest showcase of mature-driven talent, and shows their tenacity for writing a style of brutal, guttural death metal that’s no longer as popular as it was in the early to mid-nineties. The production alone gives the music on this release one hell of a punch to the gut rendering a knock out blow to anyone who comes within striking distance. It is the all out heaviness, which truly defines who Anasarca is as a death metal band, and their talent to be uncompromisingly sadistic.

Metal heads, this is the real deal, death metal with sincerest of emotions hidden behind a veil of such destructive forces.

Would you say that death metal is calming and therapeutic to the auditory and emotional senses? Yes, Anasarca’s flesh piercing armor is just what the madman demanded, and so he was given “Survival Mode”, a lesson in pure death metal torture.

With heinous and trauma causing tracks like “Survival Mode”, “571”, “The Donner Party” and “Blue John”, death will be your true salvation when the chest sucking and head pounding rhythms nail you to that inverted cross.

Having enjoyed Anasarca’s previous three studio releases, “Survival Mode” is death and extreme metal incarnate, so prepare to die an ugly, miserable death here.      Self-Financed  Sarjoo Devani
