Having been an Internal Bleeding fan since the early nineties, I've always enjoyed their innovative style of death metal music with slam rhythms and pit heaving warfare they're known to create during their live gigs. Their new album is a not just more brutally heavy than anything they've released in the past, but it surpasses their songwriting capabilities and also takes them musically beyond on "Imperium", as they've become more solid and interesting as songwriters. This new album is packed with tons of hooks, twist and turns that's sure to throw the listener into a whirlwind of a tailspin.
I had the chance to interview band found, lead guitarist and songwriter Chris Pervelis, and he filled me in on the band's new album and their recent touring stint, which saw them get positive reaction night after night.
